Pharmacy Course

In any advanced ICU unit, the presence of well-trained clinical pharmacists and their routine rounding in the ICU rounds play a significant role in reducing medication errors and costs, medication reconciliation, antibiotic stewardship, and patient and healthcare provider education. Additionally, PharmD graduates in Jordan are not fully incorporated into the healthcare system and daily practice. We share the LHSS and USAID vision to work on capacity building and investing resources to train pharmacy doctors (PharmD)/clinical pharmacists in the MOH, RMS, KHCC and JU in the field of ICU clinical pharmacy. For these reasons, we assembled a team of American Arab Pharmacists who are willing to deliver an online and in-person advanced ICU clinical pharmacy program.

Certification Requirement:

Successful completion of all the modules as well as passing the in-service exam at the end of the course are both required to get the certificate endorsed by JAP Academy.
