JAPA Academy proudly announces the successful completion of its national critical care fellowship program

JAPA Academy proudly announces the successful completion of its national critical care fellowship program , marking the culmination of nearly two years of rigorous training in critical care medicine. This milestone achievement under the leadership of Dr. Bashar Alzghoul, President of JAPA Academy; signifies the graduation of the first group of intensivists in Jordan, a significant step forward in enhancing the country’s healthcare landscape.

Since its inception, JAPA Academy has been dedicated to providing comprehensive educational opportunities for healthcare professionals, with a focus on critical care fellows in key institutions including the Ministry of Health (MOH), Royal Medical Services (RMS), King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), and Jordan University Hospital (JUH). Additionally, pharmacists and quality control workers were also included in the targeted audience, reflecting JAPA’s commitment to broadening the expertise in critical care beyond traditional medical roles.

The board review series encompassed a wide array of educational activities spanning live lectures, teaching rounds, courses, exams, review articles, journal clubs, and, most importantly, intensive board review sessions. These sessions were meticulously designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to excel in critical care medicine.

The project was made possible through generous funding from the Local Health Systems Sustainability program (LHSS) funded by USAID.
