1st Bootcamp

JAP Academy in collaboration with the Local Health Sustainability Systems LHSS project, funded by USAID, has organized the Introductory Bootcamp in critical care medicine

From 23- 25th of June 2022 at the University of Jordan Sim lab and Ultrasound lab.

Over 30 physicians from the Ministry of health, Jordan University, and Royal Medical Services participated in the event. The course included over 21 training hours between theory classes and practical stations run by local and international experts.  The stations included state-of-the-art dummies, simulated patients, simulation monitors, and real-life Ultrasound in addition to models that were built from the scratch using low-cost materials.

The course was very well received and had a tremendous impact on the trainees’ knowledge, confidence, and skills in the ICU.
